About Jess Caming

Jess Caming specializes in developing the unique methodology and messaging needed to scale businesses from startup to success. After receiving her business degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2009, she entered the film industry in Los Angeles, CA and worked as a Producer for national and international television commercials and media content before joining the regulated cannabis space.

 

Ms. Caming assisted Elefante Inc grow from inception to a licensed cannabis edible manufacturer with award-winning products, before managing manufacturing and distribution operations for Organa Brands/Organa Labs in Berkeley, CA. After joining Node Labs as Director of Operations in 2019, Ms. Caming drove growth from a small lab in Petaluma, CA to a multi-facility and multi-state operation maintaining the largest genetic library of cannabis tissue culture in the world with international partnerships and recognition by organizing all marketing and compliance efforts, leading regular educational tours and inspections for local and state regulators, implementing internal sales tracking and METRC state tracking for all licenses across the organization, managing relationships and logistics for state-wide nursery partnerships, and coordinating the construction of new tissue culture labs after partnering with Butter Brands and Compound Genetics.

 

Ms. Caming’s most recent role as VP for Seed & Smith Cannabis in Denver, CO was to create and launch a new cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, extraction, retail, and tourism operation in The Bahamas. In this role she led all planning, budgeting, marketing, hiring, operational structuring, coordination with international partners, and offering legislative support to the newly formed Bahamas National Commission on Marijuana. During this time Ms. Caming also reorganized and oversaw the Wholesale sales team in Colorado and increased revenue by implementing and tracking several successful multi-phase sales strategies.

Now applying this experience and varied skillset to a consulting practice, Jess specializes in helping early-stage cannabis and psychedelics companies develop their path to success through mindful guidance and team support.
